Because the bearing surface is coated with antirust oil, it must be carefully cleaned with clean gasoline or kerosene, and then coated with clean high-quality or high-speed high temperature grease to install and use.

Cleanliness has great influence on rolling bearing life and noise. But we would like to remind you that it is not necessary to clean the fully enclosed bearing.

On newly purchased bearings, most of them are covered with oil. This oil is mainly used to prevent bearing rust, and does not have lubricating effect, so, before installation and use, must be thoroughly cleaned.

Cleaning method:

1. For bearings, if sealed with antirust oil, gasoline or kerosene can be used to clean them.

2. For those bearings that use thick oil and antirust grease (such as industrial Vaseline antirust), they can be heated and dissolved with No. 10 oil or transformer oil (oil temperature cannot exceed 100 ° C), and the bearings are immersed in oil, and the antirust grease is dissolved and removed, and then cleaned with gasoline or kerosene.

3. For bearings that use gas phase agent, rust proof water and other water-soluble rust proof materials for rust prevention, other soap cleaning agents can be used, such as 664, Pingjia, 6503, 6501, etc.

4. When cleaning with gasoline or kerosene, the inner ring of the bearing should be held with one hand, and the outer ring should be slowly turned with the other hand until the oil on the rolling body, raceway and bracket of the bearing is completely washed away, and then the surface of the outer ring of the bearing is cleaned. When cleaning, attention should also be paid to slow turning when starting, reciprocating shaking, and not too much rotation, otherwise, the raceway and rolling body of the bearing are easily damaged by dirt. When the bearing cleaning quantity is large, in order to save gasoline and kerosene and ensure the cleaning quality, it can be divided into coarse and fine cleaning steps.

5. The bearings that are not convenient to disassemble can be cleaned with hot tears. That is, the hot oil with a temperature of 90° -100 ° C is used to drench the old oil, and the old oil in the bearing is dug out with an iron hook or a small spoon, and then the residual old oil and oil in the bearing is washed clean with kerosene, and finally the oil is washed again with gasoline.

Cleaning bearing housing housing holes and other components:

First clean with gasoline or kerosene, wipe dry cloth clean, coated with a small amount of oil can be installed. After cleaning, attention should be paid to: where there is molding sand on the casting to be completely removed; Where there are burrs and sharp corners on the parts matched with bearings, they must be removed to avoid the residual sand and metal debris during installation, which will affect the quality of assembly.
