Angular contact bearings are divided into single row angular contact bearings and double row angular contact bearings. They are used for high frequency motors and centrifuges. Angular contact bearing is a bearing with universal matching and basic design. Angular contact ball bearings are mainly used for light load and high speed rotation, requiring bearings with high precision, high speed, low temperature vibration and fixed service life. So how to maintain bearings?
1. When running for a fixed period of time (or maintenance period), completely remove the bearing;
2. Soak the bearing with diesel oil or kerosene, and open the seal cover for cleaning if there are technical conditions;
3. After cleaning, the appearance inspection of the dry cleaning oil has no damage;
4. Use 150mm rods with the same diameter as angular contact ball bearings (hollow tubes are recommended), and fix each bearing;
5. When rotating the bearing quickly by hand, push the rod (tube) to the ear or the microphone of the audio amplifier, and hear the noise of bearing rotation;
6. After fixing the bearing, move the bucket rod horizontally to check whether the bearing is worn or loose.
7. FAG bearings with serious loosening, excessive rotating noise and serious defects should be eliminated and replaced with bearings of the same type;
8. Melt a barrel of oil (high-quality yellow dry oil) with low fire (not too hot), soak the test bearing in the barrel until no bubbles overflow. The angular contact ball bearing is removed before the oil is cooled, and the oil remains less. After the grease cools, the bearing is removed, and the amount of remaining grease is very large, so the amount of remaining grease should be determined according to the need.
9. Clean the grease outside the bearing with a soft cloth or toilet paper, and install the FAG bearing on the belt pulley. Maintenance work will be completed.
Angular contact ball bearings are precision components. Compared with ordinary mechanical parts, angular contact bearings have higher accuracy, so their use needs to be carried out carefully. No matter how high performance bearings are used, such as precision bearings, aerospace bearings, magnetic levitation bearings, floating bearings, etc., if used improperly, they will not get the expected high performance, so the maintenance of bearings is very necessary. |
